TYPES OF CBD OIL
Full spectrum CBD (CBD extract mixed with oil) oil contains all of the naturally occurring compounds including major and minor cannabinoids (trace amounts of THC), essential oils, and terpenes found in the hemp plant. It has the highest efficacy of the three types of CBD oil.
All of the cannabinoids (including trace amounts of THC), terpenes, and organic compounds work together to maximize and increase the beneficial effects of the CBD oil.
Broad spectrum CBD oil (distillate mixed with oil) is modified full spectrum extract that’s gone through the process of having all of the organic compounds isolated and reintroduced at specific ratios. The THC molecule is excluded from broad spectrum CBD oil.
Less effective than full spectrum CBD oil but better than isolate oil. Good for dogs that are extremely sensitive to THC. Will not create a full entourage effect.
Isolate CBD oil (isolate powder mixed with oil) is made by isolating the CBD molecule by itself into a powder form and then mixing it with a carrier oil. Isolate oil does not include any of the beneficial major or minor cannabinoids, terpenes or essential oils from the hemp plant.
Usually 99% pure CBD. Contains none of the major or minor cannabinoids (except CBD), terpenes, or organic compounds known to be beneficial to your dogs health and well being.
